Adventures in Learning are educational programs that are provided by volunteers once a week for six weeks to anyone in the community. The program, which has become a great way for new retirees moving to the area to meet people and learn about the community, is offered twice a year and is entirely volunteer-driven. Classes are held six consecutive Mondays and Thursdays in the spring and fall on a wide range of topics and pastimes. The volunteer instructors share their past and current professional expertise as well as their hobbies, passions and experiences.
