Gwen's Meals are home-cooked lunches that are delivered by volunteers every Wednesday to people that are unable to leave their homes. Every week, volunteers from participating congregations take turns preparing and delivering these meals while providing essential social contact. Currently, this program is limited to 50 people.
Gwen's meals are named after late Gwen Clingman, who was known in Lewisburg as much for her big heart as for the generous luncheon plates she served at Clingman’s Market.
Current participating congregations are:
- Clifton Presbyterian
- Edgewood Presbyterian
- First Baptist Church of Fairlea
- First Baptist Church of Ronceverte
- First Presbyterian White Sulphur Springs
- Lewisburg Church of Christ
- Lewisburg United Methodist Church
- Old Stone Presbyterian
